FAQ’S

Everything you need to know for your first class & beyond.

  • What to bring: Grip socks are required on the Mega for your safety. Don’t have any? Don’t worry, we offer them in the studio for purchase. Bring a water bottle or buy one from us. Bathroom and water fill station available on-site!

Come early: Please arrive 15 minutes before your class starts for an overview of the Megaformer, and for a chance to ask any questions you might have. You will store your belongings in cubby’s in our lobby or in front of your Mega.

Expect some confusion: Its normal to not understand all the cues and move names during your first class. During the workout, you will be moved through a sequence of slow and controlled movements, as well as fast transitions from one exercise to the next allowing you to maintain an elevated heart rate. Be patient with yourself as you learn the workout. Our instructors will assist you and our small class size will allow for lots of personal attention.

Come back: Your first few classes will be challenging regardless of your fitness abilities. Consistency is key. It won’t get easier. Expect to get stronger.

  • We ask that you arrive 15 minutes before your first class. This will give us time to show you around the studio and introduce you to our method and machines prior to class start time. For liability reasons, if you do not arrive to your first class with enough time for this introduction, we will have to reschedule you to a different time.

  • We have a parking lot just behind the studio as well as street parking. Please be mindful of any street signage including street sweeping every 2nd and 4th Monday!

  • Whatever you feel most comfortable in! We do require grip socks in Lagree to keep your feet from sliding and to ensure cleanliness. Feel free to bring your own pair or pick some up at the front desk when you arrive. For Versa we require athletic shoes.

  • We kindly ask that you arrive at least 5 min early to class as we do lock the front doors promptly at class start time. We do this for the safety of our studio and our members' personal belongings.

If you are running late, please call or text the studio at (760)575-4841 and let us know you are on the way. If we are able to get to the phone, we will hold your machine for you, although we cannot guarantee it.

We do have a 5 minute grace period. If you arrive more than 5 min. late, your machine could be released to members on the waitlist.

As a courtesy to your instructor and your fellow members, if you arrive more than 5 minutes after class begins, you will not be allowed in class - it disrupts the class vibe. Thank you for your understanding!

  • Our classes at Lagree + Versa Fit are limited in space. For that reason, we do require a 9-hour cancellation notice. That means you must cancel your reservation at least 9 hours before your class time to receive a full refund or credit to your account.

If you late cancel (2-9 hours of the class start time), you will lose that class/session from your package, and unlimited monthly members and intro two-week unlimited members will be charged a $15 fee.

If you cancel within 2 hours of class start time, you will lose that class/session from your package, and unlimited monthly members and intro two-week unlimited members will be charged an additional late cancellation fee of $10 on top of the original $15 late cancellation fee, for a total of a $25 fee (same as a no show fee).

If you do not show up to class and do not notify one of our team members of an emergency reason for the no-show, you will lose that class/session from your package. Unlimited monthly members and intro two-week unlimited members will be charged a $25 fee.

Our goal is to not charge you this fee; instead our goal is to motivate you to either show up to class or to cancel out with enough time to fill your spot with someone patiently waiting on the waitlist. We truly hope you understand.

  • Class full? Sign up for the waitlist!

There are two ways you may be moved from the waitlist into class, depending on when a spot opens:

1️⃣ If a spot opens before the late cancellation window (more than 9 hours before class): You will be automatically added to class in the order you appear on the waitlist — please check the app to view your ranking on the waitlist.

2️⃣ If a spot opens during the late cancellation window (9 hours or less before class): Everyone on the waitlist will receive a text message with a link to claim the open spot.

The text will look like this:

“Hi [First Name], a spot just opened in [Class Name] at [Studio] on [Date] at [Time]. Secure your spot: [link].”

Open spots can be reserved on a “first-come, first-served” basis. If you click the link quickly enough, the system will move you from the waitlist to the roster using your same credit or membership.

If someone else grabs the spot first, you’ll see: “That spot is no longer available. You’re still on the waitlist for [Class Name] on [Date/Time]. We’ll text you again when another spot opens.”

Every time a new spot opens during the late cancellation window, the system will send another round of texts to everyone still on the waitlist.

It is your responsibility to keep track of your reservations, including waitlisted reservations. Think of the waitlist as actually signing up; we assume you would like to attend every class that you waitlist, so be sure to check your status on the waitlist as class time approaches. If you get into class off the waitlist and don’t show up to class, our no-show policy will apply.

If you get into multiple classes, we kindly ask that you cancel the class you do not plan to attend at least 9 hours before the class start time to avoid a late cancellation penalty.

  • All of our Lagree classes are 45 minutes. Standard Versa classes are 30 and our mile-high Versa class is 45.

  • Lagree Fit is a very efficient and effective way to burn fat and build muscle. We believe in learning by doing—and there’s no better way than to jump right in and take a class. We offer modifications and challenges throughout the class for all fitness levels.

  • All clients need to be at least 16 years old. If you are under the age of 18 we will need a parent signature in order for you to take a class.

  • As much as we love your children and animals we ask that you do not bring them to the studio as it can be distracting for our employees and fellow clients.

  • At Lagree + Versa Fit, the safety and well-being of our clients—especially during pregnancy—is our top priority. To ensure a safe and supportive experience for all expecting clients, we’ve outlined the following policies:

    Medical Clearance

    • New Clients Who Are Pregnant: A written doctor’s note is required before attending group classes. This note must confirm you are cleared to exercise with no contraindications for Lagree or Versa training.

    • Current Members Who Become Pregnant: A doctor’s note is not required but is highly recommended for your own safety and peace of mind.

     Private Sessions

    • New to the Studio + Pregnant: You must complete 2–3 private sessions before joining group classes. These sessions will help you:

      • Learn pregnancy-specific modifications

      • Understand class format and terminology

      • Practice proper form to ensure a safe experience

    • Existing Clients: If you’ve practiced with us before and are familiar with the format, private sessions are not required but strongly recommended to review key pregnancy-specific adjustments.

    Class Size & Preparation

Our group classes can include up to 17 participants. While our instructors will always check in with expecting clients and call out modifications by name, we don’t have time during class to explain those movements in detail. This is why preparation through a private session is crucial—so you feel confident and capable navigating class safely on your own.

We also recommend starting with our Back to Basics Versa class if you’re new to that method. It’s slower-paced and great for building foundational strength and knowledge.

    Limitation of Liability

By participating in our classes, you acknowledge that you do so at your own risk. Lagree + Versa Fit, along with its staff and instructors, is not liable for any complications or injuries related to pregnancy.

    • Yes, if you're new to Lagree + Versa Fit and already pregnant, you’ll need a written clearance from your physician before joining group classes.

    • No, if you’re a current client: Private sessions are not required, but we highly recommend booking a pregnancy modification session to ensure you're prepared.

  • Our group classes can have up to 17 participants, which means instructors may not have time to break down each modification during class.
We will cue pregnancy-safe moves by name, but we won’t explain them in detail in the moment.

Private sessions ensure you’re confident and safe executing the appropriate modifications on your own during class.

  • We recommend starting with our Back to Basics Versa class. It's a slower-paced, beginner-friendly option designed to help you build confidence and proper form while adjusting to movement modifications.

  • Yes. While we strive to create a safe, supportive environment, all pregnant clients attend at their own risk and must acknowledge that Lagree + Versa Fit and its team are not liable for any injuries or complications related to class participation.
